Title I-A Instructional Assistant
Vale School District #84 is inviting qualified individuals to apply for a Title I-A Instructional Assistant position for the 2024-2025 school year. Interested applicants must possess a high school diploma and obtain a passing score on the Paraprofessional Exam or possess an Associate’s Degree or complete two years of college. The Paraprofessional Exam can be scheduled by contacting Malheur ESD at (541) 473-3138. The position offers benefits, paid leave, and is PERS eligible. The hourly rate for 2024-2025 is $16.17 - $21.09, depending on experience.

Migrant Education Program Instructional Assistant/Family Engagement Specialist
Vale School District #84 is inviting qualified individuals to apply for a Migrant Education Program Instructional Assistant/Family Engagement Specialist position for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an eight-hour per day position with a 156-day (school year) contract. Interested applicants must possess a high school diploma, obtain a passing score on the Paraprofessional Exam, or possess an Associate’s Degree, or have completed two years of college. The Paraprofessional Exam can be scheduled by contacting Malheur ESD at (541) 473-3138. Interested applicants must also be able to speak, read, write, and understand Spanish. Substitute Custodian
Vale School District #84 is inviting qualified individuals to apply for substitute custodian positions. Work hours are dependent upon need and will fluctuate. The position is PERS eligible. The hourly rate is $16.05-$20.94, depending on experience.

School Bus Drivers
Vale School District #84 is inviting qualified individuals to apply for School Bus Driver positions for the 2024-2025 school year. Interested applicants must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test and criminal record check. Applicants should possess a current CDL with a bus driver, air brake endorsement, or be willing to train. Training hours will be compensated at minimum wage. Once training is complete, substitute driving hours are compensated at the rate of $26.50 per hour; the positions are PERS eligible.
